5. Committee meeting procedure:

(1) Committee meeting will be held at least once in two months.
(2) The meeting of the committee will be held on the date, time and place specified by the chairman. The notice of holding the meeting of the committee and the agenda of the meeting must be given to the members by the secretary at least three days before the meeting.
(3) If more than fifty percent of the total number of members of the committee are present, the quorum for conducting the meeting of the committee will be considered to be reached.
(4) The meeting of the committee shall be presided over by the chairman and in his absence, a member chosen by the members from among themselves shall preside over the meeting.
(5) In the meeting of the committee, the opinion of the majority shall be valid and in case of equality of votes, the person presiding shall give the deciding vote.
(6) The committee may invite any official of the Government of Nepal or any indigenous expert to participate in the meeting of the committee as per the requirement.
(7) The decision of the Committee shall be verified by the Secretary.
(8) Other procedures related to the meeting of the committee shall be as determined by the committee itself.
